What if the problem isn't what you think it is?
Most people come to Clarification with a question, a decision, or a dilemma that feels hard to resolve. They’ve already done a lot of thinking. They may have journaled, talked to friends, even tried therapy or coaching before.
But they still don’t feel clear.
Clarification focuses on the whole person, mind, body, emotions, and allows to us find the words for the things we’ve been avoiding saying — to someone else, or even to ourselves.
It’s a practical, structured way to stop circling around the problem and finally put it into words, so you can see it clearly and decide what to do next.
This is not traditional coaching. It’s not therapy.
Clarification is not about giving advice or analysing your story. It’s about slowing down enough to hear what’s already inside you.
We both have a job: to understand.
You tell me what happened. I listen to what you say, and don’t say. When I don’t understand, I ask for clarification. When you struggle with unsaid things, we pay attention to your emotional reactions, so you can find the words you need, before you say them out loud.
There is no fixing. No judging. No pressure to perform. Just a compassionate space where what matters most can finally be expressed.
Clarification helps you develop body-based emotional awareness, to resolve conflicts between what you think and what you feel. This kind of awareness is fundamental for developing healthy boundaries, the kind that come from within, not from rules or scripts. When you can feel your own limits, your yes and your no become clear.
Clarification FAQs
Clarification is not a conversation. It’s a structured, step-by-step process that helps you unpack a challenging situation and understand what’s really going on beneath the surface. You’ll work with specific events, pay attention to your body, and discover insight through direct experience, not analysis or advice.
A Clarification session is like stepping into a calm, focused space, away from the noise of thoughts, advice, or analysis. You start with a real-life situation that’s bothering you, and explore it slowly, one detail at a time. No interruptions. No “fixing.” Just your experience, unfolding with the help of simple prompts.
When emotions show up, and they often do, your coach will gently guide you to feel what’s happening in your body. Not to change it. Just to notice. Often, that’s when something unexpected shifts.
Clients say it feels grounding, honest, even surprising. As if something they hadn’t been able to say, even to themselves, finally finds its voice.
No. Clarification Coaching is not about giving advice, interpreting your situation, or analysing you. Your coach won’t reframe, reword, or guide you toward a solution. Instead, they’ll prompt you to clarify your own thoughts, feelings, judgments, and choices, so your own answers can emerge.
A key part of Clarification is becoming aware of how your emotional signals show up physically. Throughout the session, your coach may invite you to pause and tune in to your body, noticing sensations like tension, tightness, restlessness, how you’re breathing, your posture, your energy levels, your digestion, changes in temperature. These are valuable sources of information. Focussing on these helps surface what’s unresolved, avoided, or emotionally charged in a way that thinking alone cannot access.
Not at all. Clarification is for people who are curious, not already self-expert. You don’t need to be emotionally fluent, self-aware, or embodied to begin. All that’s needed is a willingness to notice what you feel and say what you see. The rest unfolds naturally with support.
Your coach will guide you, calmly, precisely, through your own experience.
No advice. No analysis. No judgment.
Just clear prompts that help you explore what really happened, how it felt, and what matters now.
It’s not a conversation; it’s a space for clarity to emerge, one step at a time.
Your Clarification Coach doesn’t interpret, advise, or steer the conversation. They are there to form a working alliance with you. Together, you explore the situation in front of you, piece by piece, to clarify what happened, how it felt, and what it means for you now.
Throughout the session, the coach helps you stay connected to your body and emotions, so that you can stay present with even uncomfortable truths, without becoming overwhelmed.
It’s not about talking more. It’s about saying what matters and letting what’s true reveal itself.
That’s fine. You don’t need to arrive with a clear agenda. Sometimes the session begins with “I just feel stuck” or “I don’t even know what’s wrong.” That’s enough. Together, you and your coach will identify the situation that’s most relevant for you right now and begin from there.
People often report feeling clearer, lighter, and more able to act after just one session. They describe moments of insight where a previously confusing or emotionally charged situation suddenly makes sense and decisions or actions become obvious. Longer-term work can shift deep-seated patterns in how you relate, communicate, or show up in your life.
Many coaching or therapy sessions feel like a conversation. Clarification isn’t.
It’s more like a gentle spotlight — moving slowly across a specific situation or relationship that feels stuck, uncomfortable, or unresolved. Your coach doesn’t ask lots of questions or offer interpretations. Instead, they guide you with simple prompts and invite you to notice not just what you’re saying — but what your body is saying too.
This is where real insight begins.
In Clarification, we believe emotions are meaningful signals — not problems to fix, but guides to listen to. And we believe that the truth of a situation is often waiting beneath the surface, just behind the thing you didn’t know how to say out loud.
Clarification is calm, focused, sometimes intense — and surprisingly safe. You go at your own pace. But you go deep. And what you uncover is often not what you expected — but exactly what you needed.
Is Clarification right for me?
Clarification may be a good fit if you:
… feel like you’re going in circles
… are burned out, resentful, or emotionally overwhelmed
… have an important decision to make
… are tired of overthinking everything
… keep repeating the same conversations
… want to feel more connected to yourself
… are ready to be honest about something
It’s especially powerful for people who are thoughtful, responsible, and used to holding things together for others.
How long and where
Clarification sessions last 60–90 minutes and can be booked individually or as part of a package. Most clients begin with 3–6 sessions, but even one session can bring insight and relief.
I work online and in person (in Milan), in English, Italian and French.
